Clifton Village Fete – help needed

The preparation for the first Village Fete for several years are well underway.  The Fete is being planned for Saturday 16 September.  We hope that there will be something for everyone, including a local produce show, live music, stalls and a main ring programme, and that this can be a regular feature of village life in the year to come.

However, to make the day a success we do need more people to get involved and help both before the day and on the day, itself. At the moment, we still have a small group of people involved, so even if you can just offer a couple of hours on the day to help set up the marquee any help would be greatly appreciated, and we would love to hear from you.

If you feel you can help out in some way please contact Alastair Robinson on 07771 945290 or drop an email to villagefete@cliftonupondunsmore.org.uk.  The next meeting of the organising group is due to take place in The Bull on Tuesday 13 June at 7.00pm, why not come along and find out more.
