I am both a Parish and Borough Councillor and was  elected to serve on the Parish Council in May 2014. I am also a coach and mediator – which is useful as I am also a mum of teenagers. Should you wish to raise any local issues, please telephone me.

    Alastair Robinson

    Vice-Chair

I have lived in the village for seventeen years and have served on the Parish Council in the past as Chair and vice- chair.
I work in the brewing industry for Marston’s Plc where I have been involved in the management of part of their pub chain, latterly I have been managing the West Sales team.
I firmly believe that we need to protect the integrity of the village and that we need to be forward thinking to leave a positive and lasting legacy for future generations who come to live here.

      Lesley Edwards

I’m originally from Birmingham and moved to Rugby 26 years ago living in Clifton for 20 years.

I took early retirement from Birmingham City Council in June 2017 where I was a Funding Manager/Growth Deal Programme Manager for Birmingham City Council and the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership.

Whilst living in Clifton I have been active in organising or contributing to many of the events that have been arranged at the TMH.  I’m Treasure of the Tennis Club and and was Chair of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Committee (2012) which organised a Fete to celebrate the occasion.

I enjoy being part of a community and supporting that community as a Parish Councillor.

          Ian Brinklow

My wife and I moved to the village 4 years ago after deciding to downsize as both of our children have now flown the nest, we wanted to live in a village where we could be part of a community. I have now retired and feel by being a member of the parish council it will help me to achieve this.

I know Rugby well as I lived here for 20 years before moving to the Daventry area in 1978.
