General, News

The twinning group has just returned from a long weekend in Evreux where we spent an enjoyable time with our French families. On the Friday there was a reception at Evreux Town Hall followed by free time at the homes of our hosts. On Saturday the whole group visited Biotropica, a specialist zoo with some rare and unusual animals. In the evening the Mayor of Evreux welcomed us to the Chateau de Trangis where we had a meal with some entertainment. Sunday was free time with our French families, being immersed in the French way of life.

There are currently three Clifton families that take part in the twinning weekends with another waiting for a suitable French family. We also have a French single mother with an eleven year old daughter that would like to start twinning with an English family with a young child. If you are interested in joining the twinning group or would like to know more about it please phone Steve Woodford on 01788 561996
