Clean for the Queen – 5 March 2016

Clean for The Queen is a campaign to clear up Britain in time for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday, which will be officially celebrated in June 2016.

The Parish Council is organising a parish-wide litter pick on the morning of Saturday 5 March and residents who would like to volunteer would be most welcome.

Equipment will be available for collection from 9.30am on Saturday, 5 March at the Car Park by the Church.

Listed below are the routes available. If there are any routes you would like to volunteer to do please let me know a.s.a.p otherwise, see you on the day!

1. Rugby Road, Newall Close, Avon Street, Vicarage Hill (up to Bridge 66)

2. Lilbourne Road (between corner of South Road and TMH), Lion Path, Car Park, Everard Close, Goodacre Close.

3. South Road, Allans Close, Allans Lane, Orwell Close, Brooklands, Whiley Close.

4. Main Street, Carlton Court, the Beeches, Station Road.

5. Buckwell Lane, Hadfield Close, Church Street, Manor Lane, Robertson Close.

6. North Road, Elms Paddock, South Road up to Shuttleworth Road.

7. Newton Road.

8. Shuttleworth Road and Playing Field.

9. Pocket Park

10. Hillmorton Locks

Refreshments will be available at the Bull Inn from 11.30am. Your help and support would be appreciated.
