Joint Community Forum – Managing Flooding Together

Warwickshire County Council have issued an invite to  a free event taking place this Thursday 14 July 2016 (today) which they have arranged  with representatives from Severn Trent, the Environment Agency, Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire Resilience Team and National Flood Forum who will be attending.

It is a special community forum for households who have been at risk from the recent flooding.

There will be a drop in session from 6pm to 6:45pm and presentations from 7pm to 8pm. It is taking place at Rainsbrook Conference Centre (Rugby Town Junior Football Club) – Kilsby Lane, Rugby, CV21 4PN.

The event is primarily focused on rural areas but people from the town are also welcome.

The forum is an ideal opportunity to like to  pass on your views and find out if anything further can be done to prevent the flooding happening again. If you are unfortunately  unable to make it to the meeting so please let the organisers know, and whether attendance would have been useful to you – also whether you have any comments to make.
