Report from Clifton Neighbourhood Watch – January 2020

At the time of writing there was one incident in Clifton during the last period: Incident No112 02/12/2019 – Newall Close, Clifton, where a small dumper truck has been stolen.

Please be aware of scams, recent ones might appear to come from TV Licencing, AmazonPrime, the Police, Broadband companies, Credit Card companies and Banks. Some of theseare very convincing and can arrive through your phone, text, eMail etc. Check by calling thecompany on their nationally advertised phone number and if possible use a different phonefrom the one you received the potential scam on (the fraudsters might have your phone onhold during the scam so any calls you dial will not connect and it will still be the fraudsterson the line).
