Happy Christmas to all in Clifton upon Dunsmore

The Parish Councillors should like to wish a restful and happy festive season to all parish residents. We hope that you will all be able to take some time out from your busy lives to enjoy the festivities with your family and friends; although we appreciate that many people working in the emergency services and caring sectors do not have such a luxury!

As the New Year approaches we would like to reflect on achievements during the past year and our ambitions for 2019. This year has been another busy one!

We are really pleased by the continuing success of both the summer and Christmas events organised by the Parish Council this year. It has been so heartening to have had so many residents attend both events and received such positive feedback – and it was very rewarding to be able to fund the Air Ambulance to the tune of over £4,000 and approximately £430 to Hope4 Rugby as a result of both of these events.

The Parish Council will again be organising  summer and Christmas events next year, building on the feedback that we received, to enhance the experience provided to residents in the past year. We will be circulating an annual report in the first quarter with full details of the past year’s work on your behalf.
