Have you say on health needs in your area

A survey has been launched to find out more about the unique health and wellbeing needs of Warwickshire’s various local communities.

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) and its partners recognise that the needs of different communities throughout the county will differ greatly depending on a range of factors such as population demographics, infrastructure, community safety and many more.

As part of a larger project to gain more insight into life in Warwickshire’s communities, a survey has opened for residents to let the county council know what, in their opinion, the current health and wellbeing needs of their area are and any ideas they have for improvement.

The responses to this survey will form part of the 2018-2020 Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and will help inform service delivery and development.

Councillor Les Caborn, WCC Portfolio Holder for Health and Wellbeing, said: “Understanding people’s needs on a local level and improving our knowledge of existing community and third sector provision in local areas will enable us to ensure the right service is delivered in the right place at the right time to the right people. There is no-one better placed to tell us about the needs of a community than the people who live there – whether you have a lot to say or there’s just a couple of things you want us to know, we want to hear from you.”

The survey will close on Sunday 15 July and takes about ten minutes to complete. To have your say, go to http://bit.ly/JSNAResidents.
