Report from Clifton Neighbourhood Watch – October 2018

CLIFTON NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

At the time of writing there have been no reported crimes during the last period.

The new speed restrictions are in place so please observe the 30 mph speed limit as you enter the village and the 20 mph zone within the village. Please note that the 20 mph zone includes North Road, South Road etc. and not just the main roads through Clifton. The Clifton Community Speed Watch team are now operating their vehicle speed monitoring around the village and registration numbers etc. will be forwarded to Warwickshire Police for the appropriate action to be taken. A summary of the checks will be published in these reports. It is expected that the Community Speed Watch Scheme in Clifton will have a significant effect on the speed of traffic through the village.

You will receive emails from the police from time to time to make you aware of crimes in Clifton, details of local scams and fraudulent activity, crime prevention advice etc. To join this service go to; https://www.warwickshire.police.uk/cms
